Larry has a long history of helping people plan their benefits strategies, leading in his profession, and being an active member of his community. Since 1966, Larry has helped individuals and business owners assess their current situation and develop a plan for the future. With his experience and training, Larry now specializes in executive and employee benefits programs.

Larry is a leader. In addition to being the CEO of Security First Benefits, and the Secretary/Treasurer of Security First Insurance Agency, he is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (he was president of the Flint chapter), and serves as the Treasurer of the Association of Health Insurance Advisors.

Larry has served on several National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) committees, and has held all of the offices of both the Flint and the Michigan Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has served as the Chairman of the NAIFA Public Relations Committee, president of the Flint Estate Planning Council, and president of the Life Insurance Leaders of Michigan.

Larry is as committed to his community as he to his clients. He is a member of the United Way Leadership Giving Cabinet, president of the Board of Unity Church of Flint, and has served as a board member of the Genesee Valley Branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Larry also enjoys travel, tennis, and his family. Larry and his wife have five sons and four grandchildren.
